PSA: There are an average of 3,846 fatal ice water drownings in the USA annually. I was surprised by the number of ponds and retention ponds in HHVFC district. We’re trained and prepared for ice water rescues (people and pets) in our district and assist our neighbor vol. fire co’s if needed.
