At 10:30 A.M, the Harris Hill Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to a house fire on Shimerville Road, with multiple calls. Our auto-aid partners were also alerted. Main-Transit, Clarence Center, East Amherst, Bowmansville and Twin City Ambulance. Clarence Fire Department filled Harris Hills hall while crews were at the scene. The fire was under control within 20 minutes. Harris Hill firefighters returned to the station at approximately 1 p.m. after overhauling. Fire is under investigation by the Erie County Sheriffs Fire Investigators.
